Vice President of Human Resources
Tammy Marshall has operated as the Vice President of Human Resources with The Physician’s Alliance Corporation (TPAC) for the past two years. Ms. Marshall is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for TPAC’s personnel programs, policies, and services. Ms. Marshall focuses on providing leadership and direction in the development of HR policies and practices that promote maximum effectiveness while supporting the TPAC mission. Prior to joining TPAC, Ms. Marshall served as the Human Resources Director for Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN, and started her HR career with a recruiting agency in Nashville, TN. Known for her strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport, Ms. Marshall is a dedicated HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Before transitioning into the human resources industry, Ms. Marshall spent over 15 years working in multiple roles advocating for individuals of all ages in both inpatient, outpatient, and community-based mental health programs. She served as the Director for Community Intervention and Research Center, Inc., a non-profit agency providing behavioral and mental health intervention and therapeutic services to children in Panama City, Florida. In this role, Ms. Marshall collaborated with government entities, social service agencies, educational programs, and healthcare facilities in the implementation, expansion, and supervision of psychiatric, substance abuse, and mental health therapeutic programs in her community. After relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, she worked as an inpatient hospital psychiatric social worker for HCA Healthcare, providing counseling and social services to adult patients with psychiatric disorders.
Ms. Marshall graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and from Troy University with a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. A native of the Florida Keys, she lives with her two children in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
