After the establishment of Golden Times as a Delaware captive in 2020, Pat assumed responsibility for risk payor and provider relations.  A 30-year veteran of organized healthcare, his experience in managing IPAs and ACOs to improve opportunities and outcomes for patients of independent physician practices has always contributed to achieving the triple aim of better-quality care, population health outreach and overall cost savings. 

Golden Times is managed to facilitate medical provider value-based contracts with downside risk.  Primary and specialty care providers and their independent practices participate in multi-payor agreements under Golden Times’ captive arrangements that secure reinsurance and post required financial reserves on their behalf.  Pat provides regulatory oversite and compliance with governing bodies and other insurance entities that contract with TPAC and its related businesses.

Pat is a 1979 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His healthcare experience includes reorganizing physician-Hospital Organizations (pHOs) into physician-led Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) in the Southeastern United States, building provider networks for health plans, and data analysis.  He also helped conceptualize and participated in the development of software systems specifically suited to multi-practice applications for measuring and improving utilization and quality performance.

Married for 43 years to his wife Tina, they reside in Brentwood, TN and are the parents of two sons and 3 grandchildren.
